Angry people and scaring Meagan

So today a lady decided to FEIST me about coffee.  She was shouting at me from the counter, i was pretending not to hear her because she was being rude until she said "...that B**** isn't even listening to me".  I knew this drink i was making wasn't hers but i did what she was yelling anyway because i too was a little feisty but still myself and didn't want to fight her.  I placed the drink on the counter and called it out, double tall iced caramel macchiato.  I then went back to making drinks and made another tall iced caramel macchiato.  When i put this one on the counter and called it out she said "oh wait, that one is mine, this one isn't."  I replied oh, so you mean i just ruined this drink because i listened to you yelling at me from behind the counter and went and poured it down the drain... (yes, i know i was feisty too but please be nice to people who do monotonous jobs... we get tired too!)  THEN... she points at another employee and says "come here", "That girl is slapping S*** down on the counter and i don't like it."  I looked at her and said, if you have a problem, I am the manager and you can talk to me about it."  She put her hand up.... 

No joke, just like that...

OH WE ARE THROUGH!

Later she said, "Miss Manager, i can see you are having difficulties today so i am just going to leave."

LOL, Meagan tells the story like this:

She said i scared her so she just kept her head down and pretended to stir a coffee.

I like to think of myself more like this....

Either way i feel pretty Bad A.

I decided that pregnancy hasn't made me feistier like people are saying,

I already thought the things i am now saying.

I just feel more confident all of a sudden to stick up for myself.

It is refreshing, i like it!

These are just some letters i finished for Laura and TJ and their baby due next saturday!

I had an ABSOLUTE FANTASTIC weekend!

Friday night we went out to celebrate our baby with our friend Roger and Sheila.  We had mexican food and they bought us some baby books! YAY!

Saturday morning we went to Mannheim so Nick could fly and i layed out in the sun for a while reading and took a nap.  WONDERFUL!  We left and went across the street to IKEA for some grub and to look at chairs for the Nursery.  Then we went to the BX to look at chairs for the nursery and cribs.

TODAY... we woke up early and headed to Belgium with Roger and Sheila to a flea market (literally, there were fleas everywhere!) It was so much fun!  We bought...

The guy said it's Italian and he bought it in Paris, now we bought it in Belgium.

How we found out:

I woke up and took the test, it came out positive so i called Nick, he didn't answer and i took this as a sign that i should tell him in at least an attempted cool way... so i took a shower

I checked that the test was still positive about 3 more times before leaving the house.

I wanted to get baby balloons and tie them to "What to Expect When You are Expecting" and surprise him while he was teaching.

My plan was foiled.

The Bx did not have the book, the craft store was closed and the flower shop was out of helium.

I bought some baby colored balloons and held them in my hand :(

THEN our camera stopped working right when i was trying to tell him... so no picture of us crying...

because we both did! :)

Here is my Easter Basket from mom and dad

YES, i DO still get an easter basket even though i am 23 years old!

A rather terrific Easter basket if you ask me...

2 dresses, red tea, candle, loofah, lotions, martha mini cookbook,

bee spoon rest, candy and a bee happy key chain.  

LOVE IT!  Thank you mom and dad!

PLUS everything in the box was wrapped in Easter colored tissue paper, my mom is adorable!  :)

I made a whole new batch of cupcakes so that i could do NEW birds nests.

My frosting stood up to the heat this time and was fluffy yet firm enough for me to pipe correctly.
