The End of Summer

So for our last week of summer i felt the need to pay tribute to the bits of good weather we had and make something that would do them proud.  I made an ice cream cake: to cool you down, and a nectarine galette: to show the fruits of summer's labor (hehe)

Oreo cookies, vanilla and butter

A layer of banana

I made a batch of brownies and stirred them into the vanilla ice cream

A layer of chocolate ice cream, a layer of cool whip and VOILA!
